Chiropractors have a powerful story to tell.
\nTo reach most deeply into someone’s understanding,
\n‘telling’ \u00a0just isn’t enough.<\/span><\/strong><\/em> That’s why Docs use nerve charts.<\/p>\n

In 1976, I envisioned a modern electrification of the same
\nNerve Anatomy Charts Chiropractors already had on their walls.<\/p>\n

The result …
\na patient could just
\nwalk up to this slick picture,
\npoke a button,
\nAnd\u2026
\nLIGHTS<\/span><\/strong><\/em> . . . slammed home the consequences of the subluxation.<\/p>\n

\"Chiropractic<\/a><\/p>\n

The Neuropatholator grew in 1979 to 3\u00a0electrically synchronized charts.
\nFour and a half feet of wall space dedicated to instant understanding.<\/p>\n

It was dramatic,<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\n It was powerful,<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\n and<\/strong><\/span><\/em>
\n It built thousands of practices \u2026 at the push of a button.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Chiropractors would tell me that
\nas they explained the problem during the ROF,
\nthey would touch their patient\u2019s problem area,\u00a0and
\npress the button on the Neuropatholator.
\nSome patients would actually buckle at the knees a little.
\nThe impact is immediate and indelibly memorable.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

There was still more to show and tell though, so in \u201984
\nwe created 60 mix and match posters
\nand bound them into the very portable SHO chart
\nto take the message to larger audiences,<\/span><\/strong>
\n screenings and even daily topics.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Chiropractic<\/a><\/p>\n

The result was even greater referrals
\nwhile leveraging time wisely.<\/p>\n

But still not satisfied, I thought,
\n\u201cWhat if the Neuropatholator could push its own buttons?\u201d<\/span><\/strong>
\nAnd even use a small LED sign to silently narrate the activity on the chart?<\/p>\n

That meant it could be\u00a0in the Reception Area
\nand draw people into an enhanced Chiropractic awareness.<\/p>\n

It could even show the direction of nerve transmission,
\nboth afferent and efferent.
\nThe computerized Neuropatholator Mini 3 was a huge success when
\nit debuted at The Las Vegas Parker Seminar in January 1991.<\/p>\n

The next challenge \u2026 How could we make it as big as your wall?<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n2001 brought us computers and projectors.<\/p>\n

Everybody loves reaching out and touching the picture though –
\nso in addition to a mouse or trackpad,
\nBAM<\/span><\/strong><\/em> … the Neuropatholator Touch Software was optimized for touchscreen in 2002.<\/p>\n

\"Chiropractic<\/a><\/p>\n

So now we have
\nbigger computer screens,
\ninteractivity and animation,
\nadded to that, are all the SHO posters, posture, subluxation,
\ndegeneration, 3D spinal images and videos, and so much more.
\nAnd best of all we\u2019ve still got fingertip activation.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There was only one frontier left. Our patients\u2019 pockets and the palm of their hands.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Since long before the first Newton by Apple,
\nor the Palm Pilot Personal Assistant which all gave way to the iPhone,
\nI envisioned a Neuropatholator that could be carried from room to room.
\nAfter all, in the 80\u2019s DCs used folders, clipboards and travel cards.
\nMy idea was an electronic clipboard Neuropatholator.<\/p>\n

We had one working prototype. However,
\nTechnology in the 80\u2019s was inadequate and very expensive,
\nMicrosoft didn\u2019t even create Windows for 4\u00a0more years.<\/p>\n
