17 years ago when I purchased my first practice, I saw the 3 paneled neuropatholator on the wall and had to have it.  The selling doctor didn’t want to let it go, so I had to pay extra.  Shortly after that, my practice grew to the point where I needed more space.  We moved to my current location on Main Street in Pleasanton CA.  Then came the Mini 3.  We placed it in the reception room for patients to play with.  During the times that we aren’t in the office, we flip it around in the window so that people passing by can see it.  It’s fun to watch the people become fascinated with it.  They’ve also developed an interactive brochure.  I highlight the areas of subluxation for the patient, they go to the chart circle where the nerve goes in their body, turn it into the front desk and I go over it with them on the next visit.  This helps a lot with the patient understanding of how chiropractic helps with many conditions.

I also use the flip chart for my patient orientation.  I’ve done this for years and feel that it is one of the best ways to educate my patients and stimulate referrals.  Of all the things that I have done to grow the practice, this is by far the most powerful.
